Yeah, I saw that one. The guy fell down and was taken out by EMT's. I think they gave the Korean guy the win though. I'm guessing he got some blood money. Mad

Sorry to be so technical but that is Yoshihiro Nakao, who is Japanese, not Korean. Also, that was a K-1 match, not UFA.

Yeah, it was pretty cool though. K-1 is done in Japan, so of course the crowd immediately reacted against Heath Herring (the white guy). They initially disqualified Herring, but later ruled it a no contest since both the punch and the kiss were fouls.

I don't know. Maybe he doesn't have yellow fever, but something tells me this isn't the first time the white guy has been kissed by another guy. There is too long a pause between the kiss and the punch. The punch wasn't all that hard either. The Japanese guy is faking it. He laid down and got carried off because he wants revenge for being rejected in public.

.

Actually, although it says K1 in the top left hand corner, that was an MMA fight. The event was K1 dynamite which has matches of MMA rules and K1 rules. The gloves are the 6oz gloves that allow fighters to grapple, NOT 10 oz gloves that are worn in K1 at the weight of these 2 fighters. Also, both fighters were wearing boots, which is a bit strange in K1 as wearing boots means that you are not allowed to kick your opponent. Also Herrings and Nakaos main fighting art is wrestling/grappling. Grappling is illegal in K1....

And Nakao is wearing trunks which cover his upper body. I think this is illegal in a K1 rules match.

In addition, the round is 5 minutes long. The maximum length of time a K1 round can be is 3 minutes...

Ronnie Pudding.

I think the thread title should definitely be changed to reflect the fact that it's a Japanese fighter. Why unnecessarily get the few Koreans who read these forums all riled up? (It's also old news from many months ago and already posted...)

The guy kissed and he kissed back. Both were cheap shots.
