He's closed for winter and won't be back at that location from what he has told me. I talked to him this Saturday and he said he is opening a small Kebab shop in about 2 weeks...probably more...in Itaeweon |

Well, there is Cafe Istanbul which I am definitely going to go to before watching the Sunday hockey game. The cafe is relatively close to Itaewon. |

Istanbul is down the hill on the left from Noksapyeong subway station. The doner there are only adequate, not great. The fish and chips is better, I hear.
Yeah, and Volkan bey is a Turk, so those things are doner, not gyros! And don't get me started on the spelling. |

He opened up again. I can tell you where he is now. Do you know the intersection near the Burger King? I am sure you do. Well, just go up the alley a tiny bit and take a left into one of the side streets. It is kind of opposite of that Mexican place called King Taco. He has the Turkish flag displayed, so it is hard to miss his place. I had two of his sandwiches. They were pretty good! |
