It's been a couple of years since I had to make the Fukuoka run for a new visa. The last time I did (2005), you HAD to have the permission paper from immigration. Now, they're telling me you don't need it. Is this true?
I're really hate to make a visa run and come back with no visa! |

Yes, it's true. You just need the visa issuance number.
hmmmm... Been that way since late 2005.
Visa-issuance number - instead of "blue form"
