I've heard that Poly is THE hogwan for high-level students and their parents.
But, is it great for the teachers that work there?
Are the hours worth it?
Are there high demands on your time...hard-core curriculum rules, regulations, and the like?
'Just mulling things over and would appreciate your input. |

Use the search function for "Poly" or "KCTY"
They recently changed their name to Korea Center for Talented Youth
I've heard from other teachers there is A LOT of take home work such as grading quizzes and essays. They do offer a higher than normal salary (I was quoted 2.5- 2.8 ) for teachers with experience.
I think the normal work schedule is something like 1-10 with two hours of mandatory prep every day. Personally, I think there are WAY better jobs available |
