He choked... not like his O-line gave him much time to make a play anyways. I won 100,000 won!

I don't think he choked, i just think hes not a very good Quarterback. What analysts say about him and the Bears is just code for hes not a good QB.

- Gunslinger
- not good with timing throws
- makes slow reads.

The Bears are not a good come from behind team(not a good QB) and not good in third and long(not a good QB). He is a mediocre QB with few strentghs.

Bears need a replacement, but honestly may not be able to fid anyone better. In the NFL mediocre means starter at QB for most teams.

As much as I wanted the Bears to win, especially with Berrian being a Fresno State Alumni like myself, I knew the Bears would lose. Grossman is just not a reliable qb, at least when the Ravens went, Dilfer (another Fresno State guy) didn't lose the game for them. Grossman had a chance to prove he was efficient as a starting qb and I think he just gave the Bears a reason to go qb hunting because they will never win a Super Bowl with him at the helm, especially with the AFC being as good as they are. Bump Grossman, lock up the rest of your team (Thomas Jones is money) and maybe they can repeat as NFC champs and give it another go next year.

It was a team loss - other guys made costly fumbles and dropped key catches on offense, and the Colts offensive line outplayed the Bears defensive linemen. That said, obviously Grossman's not in the same class as Manning, but he also didn't get as much chance to get into a passing rhythm because of the Bears game plan (and his own mental errors...)

If there were ever a QB deserving of a Bears uniform, it's this guy.

Grossman

I was for Bears all the way, but after I saw the score 29 : 17, I decided not to watch anymore.
Grossman is ok, give him more time, last 2 years he couldn't play full season because injury, this is first time he did play full season.

Better team won and the better team was Colts Evil or Very Mad

This will be the only Super Bowl that Peyton ever wins. He needed to face the one qb who's an even bigger choke artist than he is.

im pissed & can't wait to hear chicago downplay the game and pile it on rex grossman. chump city has to blame it on someone and he's the easy target.

its not about the chicago bears. its not about chicago, the city with an identity crisis. its about the indianapolis colts and the fact that indianapolis is home of the NFL world champions.

Geesh, did somebody from Chicago steal your girlfriend or something? I'm a Packer fan from Wisconsin and we hate the Bears as much as anyone...but Chicago is a great city. Congrats to Peyton and the Colts.

congrats colts, you won the AFC and so the Super Bowl. manning would've choked if given the chance, but thank goodness for rex to do it for him! this was a great win for all the colts players and the city. but instead of talking about manning winning the game the national media will now talk about how he has only won one because these idiots always have to find the bad in everthing and are never satisfied
IM FROM CHICAGO & HATE THE BEARS MYSELF,BUT YOU KNOW ANY AFC TEAM WOULD HAVE BEATIN THIS JOKE OF A TEAM!!!

Manning has only won one, but he still has plenty o'time to get more rings. As far as Grossman and the Bears are concerned, they played half-decently, not really piss poor but not good either. The Bears O-line did not give Grossman enough time to make good plays. And when the O-line gave him time, he made the wrong decisions. He's a good QB, but he's not on the same level as Favre, Mannings(s), Brady, Big Ben, even Damon Allen and Doug flutie. Props to hester, Jones, and the D, they had a good game.

You must hate the Bears. Gradkowski is a step down, even from Grossman.

Wow, anyone who can still call Manning a choker are obviously idiots. They also have no concept of football as a team game. Or are in thrall to lazy journalism. one or the other. Manning had a great day in the rain today.

Grossman as I said before didn't choke. He is just an inexperienced QB who wll always thow interceptins as long as he still makes slow reads and is inaccurate over short to medium distance.

When did choking come to mean playing badly in a big game. I thought it meant playing significantly below your level in a big game.
