The big hotels usually have a small selection.
There used to be a cigar store in Itaewon, perhaps in the Hamilton shopping centre, but I'm not sure if it's still there. |

Hamilton Hotel is supposed to have a walk in humidor. never went and checked it out though.
Hannam Mart has a small selection of cigars by the entrance to the main store. |

Almost forgot, if you don't mind ordering in, dunno what customs would be like, there is a place that delivers. Supposedly the price includes shipping. I haven't used them, yet. If you do let me know how it goes.

The Hamilton is alright (2nd floor-not a walk-in humidor) and the Westin Chosun also has a small selection of cigars and tobacco. I've also bought from the Shilla Hotel not bad either.
The Chosun used to have a walk-in humidor but they got rid of it. But one of the other hotels might have one. |

| I was able to find some cigars at Gecko's in Itaewon. I don't know about prices, but I'm looking for something more on the affordable-affordable side! |

| Just so you know, the cigar shop in the Hamilton Hotel in right next to the elevator (not in front of, NEXT TO!!) on the second floor. Was on my way up to the 3rd floor (not seeing it on the 2nd) when I glanced down and to the side...and there it was! LARGE selection!! |

Korea is a great place to enjoy stogies. Most decent sized pubs, even outside of Itaewon, won't mind if you light up (maybe the double corona wouldn't be so welcomed, though).
The place in the Hamilton is a complete rip off. Gecko's has a basic selection, but the prices are still double what you'll be paying if you buy online and have them shipped to you. The puros site offered by another poster is OK, but they take a while to get here. The upside is that you can buy by the stick from them, albeit at a large mark-up. Try cigarsofhabanos.com. They offer free delivery, but you have to buy by the box. Hey, just a great excuse to pick up a humidor!
One of the most comfortable place for a nice smoke outside of the 5-star hotels with their 10 dollar beers, is hands-down the Hollywood in Itaewon. Bring your own sticks as they don't sell there. Still, they can mix a great drink to accomodate a cigar smoker, and they have some decent whiskies and single malts as well. Big, old-school dinner club type seating, not a bad steak and a proper bar. Get up there on a weeknight if possible as weekends it gets a bit crowded to do a nice cigar.
Another decent place is the 3-Alley, but you'd be best served to go with some friends and try to get a booth. It's not comfortable to stand and smoke there, and it gets packed Thurs-Sat.
Cheers, and enjoy! |

Honestly your best off buying them duty free next time ya are traveling, Korea seems to hit cigars pretty hard with duties.
Oh and goodluck thursday... I mean to Hell with Georgia! |

| Best to order them on-line.... www.cigarsofhabanos.com about 1/3 the price of anywhere in Korea and about 5-day turnaround. You might need a Korean to help you fill in the info for credit card confirmation, however, if you have a Korean card. |

| Songtan also has some decent cigars. For people who live in Cheonan or the Pyongtaek area or in that neighborhood or even Suwon, Songtan might be a good place to pick up some cigars. I don't like cigarettes. I definitely like cigars. I never thought I would be into cigars when I was a kid, because I used to find their smell repulsive, but I love the smell now. I don't like the smell of cigarettes, generally. |
