so i've solved my earlier problem about how to make a class website. wordpress does the job well enough for me...

now how to add on a forum?

i've searched and found a bunch of pages that give detailed instructions, but it seems you need to know about coding...

is there a simpler way? guess there's no easy download-and-install way, but is it simple enough to give a quick step-by-step that a beginner could follow? i'm no computer foo', but i'm lost with the coding lingo...

did you try bbpress http://bbpress.org/ - looks pretty simple

why not just install yabb and then simply link to it within your wordpress? That's if you don't want full integration for all levels of wordpress. A simple workaround.
