|
Just bought a 2 gig player and can only get about 60 songs on it, so realised I need to upgrade....
Looking for an I-pod gen 5.5 30 gig music and video player
Or
A Creative Zen Vision M 30 gig
Or
Not sure if I'm too bothered with being able to watch movies on it as movies are sh*t watched on such small screens so would also consider buying a
Latest model - Ipod nano 8 gig
Or an i-river 6 gig mp3 player.
Or if anyone has anything simmilar in good shape at a decent price, please let me know....
Cheers

Strange... I get more than 500 songs on my 2 gig mp3 player.... they must be VERY long songs if you can only get 60.
1 meg per minute of play (rough aproximation) means you should get about 2000 minutes of play on a 2 gig player.
VERY HI quality 2 megs per minute still gives you 1000 minutes of play in mp3 format. Average song length of 3 - 4 minutes still leaves more than 250/300 songs.
You can get bigger ones at the Nanjin arcade (by yongsan) for just over 100k. |

Yeah... I thought something was wrong...
Maybe it just says on the computer that the available space left on the drive is less than it is... I haven't tried downloading any extra on it yet, so it might have more capacity and I'm just not aware of it....
It is a cheapie though - a 'Delco' brand from China. But 2 gigs is 2 gigs right...? Hmmm, I'll try downloading more and see what happens.... |

That IS REALLY weird that you only get 60 songs on your '2GB' player.
I've read an article somewhere about "Chinese" memory cards/sticks etc that claimed to have at least 4 GB, but it was 'counterfeit' or whatever you call it.
What those manufacturers did was 'tricking' the PC to read the memory space as ex. 4 GB, yet it was only 512 mb in size. That's why I didn't trust any non-reputable seller when i was in Beijing last summer. |
