My Boss in all him "wisdom" has rearranged all the classes, now I have 2 to 4 different levels in ONE class. I have 3, 15 minute classes per hour which is challenging enough to teach anything in such a short time, but now I have to figure out a way to teach multiple levels in 15 minutes:-? (pretty stupid)

I am only there for another 3 weeks, but I still want to do my best for the kids.

Does anyone know any good games or activities that will work on multiple levels simultaneously?

I'd very much appreciate any help, though proper leveling would be the real answer Ihave to deal with what I have, fortunately for only 3 weeks;-)

Thanks to anyone who has some ideas for me.

One of the favorite games in my classroom goes like this.
First review three or four words written on the board, make sure you
describe the words.
Next, have one student (A) sit with his or her back to the board.
You point to one word, no one is allowed to say "the word".
The other students take turns "describing the word" to student A
Take turns, make it easy and have fun!

Another favorite is "Find the Word!"
Hand out an easy reading, read it quickly then draw a hangman on the board.
You choose a word and ask eash student ,one at a time, what the whole word is. countdown ten seconds. If the first student does not find the word, you draw his or her head, second student, countdown, if this student does not find the word you draw his or her coat, jacket, etc.... until all the students are hung or a student finds the word.
Oh yeah, if a student says "the word" out of turn, you draw his or her body part and find a new word!

I forgot to tell you about vanishing words.

Takes a little time to set up and you could have a reward handy.

Write the alphabet out using small words:
Ape Band Car Door.... etc
Review with the students, backwards Zebra, Yarn, X-ray...etc
Now you begin erasing a few words and review again without skipping over the erased words...... it's a blast. The first student who remembers all the words wins.

Draw a Monster:
On the board:
My Favorite Monster has:
one leg
two wings
three eyes
four legs
five arms
six toes
etc.. kills alittle time and reinforces numbers, body parts Very Happy
