...to a song that isn't really dancy?
So I was at a party once, and, perhaps out of the flirtation drive, I watched two people try to dance to:
Space Oddity
by David Bowie
I also went to a Roger Waters concert where the guy next to me wanted to get funky to "Goodbye Blue Sky".
Any similar close encounters of the awkward dance kind? |

| One time about ten years ago I DJed a swing night when that music was the fad. I was playing some good old Big Band music, when this couple asked me "Can you play something fast?" I told them the next song queued up was one of the fastest songs I had. It was by Woody Herman. They just stood on the dancefloor staring at each other impatiently. Someone else requested Minnie the Moocher by Cab Calloway, a song with no consistent dance rhythm, so I played that. The two morons danced to that one. |

People can dance on any song if they are wasted or high enough. |
