I know there's often confusion about exhanges rates in conversation on this forum. TO keep it simple, the higher the dollar, the less money we get when we exchange our Korean won into NZ dollars.
So, high = bad
low = good

Go up relative to what? The Kiwi dollar could 'go up' relative to the US dollar and still 'go down' relative to the won.

Not too bad I guess. It was 755W to the NZ Dollar when I was in the ROK in 05. Apparently it got down to 400W to the dollar in 02, hope that happens again.

Not quite, it was hovering around 620 in '02. '92 was 400. We won't see it happen again unless NZ goes into big time recession, along with half the world?

Yes, we do. But only when dealing with Aussies as they have trouble with numbers.

It was 480w to the NZ$ when I arrived in 2000 and quickly moved up to 520. I can't ever remember it being as low as 400, in the years since.

I remember it being 560 won to the dollar when I first came here in 2001. In 2003 it shot up to over 800 Sad
