Air asia is having a huge sale at the moment (I think Malaysia Air is too).
It runs from the 31st to the 6th. I just bought tickets that are half price what they were when I checked yesterday. I Bought tickets going from KL to BKK that cost $16NZ ($10U.S). A flight from KL to Kuching cost $61NZ ($41U.S) yesterday and I bought tickets for $12NZ ($8U.S)today!
I also found flights for 50cents to some places in Malaysia.
www.airasia.com
Anyway, I hope you guys make the most of it! especially everyone that's helped me out with my questions recently. |

| What are the total prices of the flights, with the fuel surcharge and tax included? Or does that include all that stuff? Just curious because when I was in the Philippines, they were having a flight sale, with flight for $5, but then when you actually went to buy them, they were about $75 each. |

| Just went to look: with airport tax, the flights are still under $40! The most expensive i could find was $80 for bali to bangkok. Not sure about fuel surcharge, but the website it very good, it warns you about any extra charges that you might have to pay before you book. |

Flew Air Asia more than two dozen times when I lived in Indonesia. Was always satisfied with their service.
You will have to pay some additional fees but they're not that much.
Just remember to line up early at the gate because everyone makes a mad dash to get a "good" seat! (at least that's how it was in Indonesia) |

As RnH said there are the usual taxes but they do give a complete breakdown of what the taxes and charges are.
932THB for a flight Bangkok to Chiang Mai return (2 people).
Taxes were 2,400THB = 3971THB
When you translate the total its only $165NZ ($113U.S) for two people.
I checked the site the day before yesterday and was jotting down prices, I went back to the site yesterday and they were all well over half the price that I had written down the day before. |

| Anyone ever tried just showing up to the airport to try and find a cheap, very last minute flight to anywhere? What would my chances be? |
