Anyone else play the new Rainbow Six game on Xbox Live? I tried it out tonight and its a blast but I get crap for pings. No one will play with me Sad My connection is pretty solid, usually get 300k or so off torrents so i dunno what the deal is.

Torrent settings ( and the way the program works) and online gaming settings are quite different.

Not sure what can be tweaked on Xbox. TTL, MTU, etc are all easy to manage on a computer in order to optimize gaming.

Yeah thats trues, I was just using at as an example to show the horses are there , I am just not getting the performance. I kept getting kicked from games because of low ping. It was bogus.

Low ping? Like, you were kicking them around so they booted you? Perhaps you mean high ping, so you were lagging the game?

Either way, that's a drag.

Try some optimizing software. Max MTU has some good reviews. Can be a bit tricky though; if you set things wrong, it can stuff up your internet connection. I believe there is a "go back to defaults" safeguard though.

Change your Xbox360's language settings to Korean, and you'll be connected to players in Korea in unranked matches. This is the only way to get low-latency games in R6V, because its netcode is not as good as Gears'.
