the food never comes.
call again ask what happened to my food

food still doesn't come
if i order western food like pizza, it will come
anything else

Find a favorite restaurant and drop off your name and address and phone number.. and call them.. say this is me I want this and this.. I've done it with a restaurant nearby and they recognize my voice now.. |

What do you mean you give your number? Your phone number? I think that might just confuse them. But when you order pizza it comes, and you order the exact same way? That's mighty strange, might strange.
Like others have said, it may be best to just bring in a paper with your addres on it, and, unless you're in a small town, your name written in Korean. Then when you call it'll be fairly obvious who you are. I did this when I first moved here and it worked fine. |

Its probably that everything in Korean pizza places are in English even if it is written in Korean.
hem Pa in a peul = Ham and Pineapple
Pe peu ro ni - peperoni
Chi zz - Cheese
Pi Ja - Pizza
Larji - Large
Re gyu la - Regular
po tae ee to - potato
Maybe it could be a pronunciation thing too with korean food names. (not to mock your Korean fluency skills - I dont know)
But IME - When some Koreans see or hear a waygook, the last thing they expect to here come out of said waygooks mouth is Korean. So their not geared up for it - especially in small towns) I stand to be corrected on this. |

I order my food on-line.
http://www.2223333.com/ in Incheon. There might be something similar in other cities. |
