OK...
I've been using VLC for a long time, and I just got a new computer with Vista. I installed VLC, but I dont get any picture on my videos. I only get sound. While I refuse to use WMP, what other media players are good? What am I doing wrong with VLC? Anyone have any ideas? |

| Thanks guys. I'm downloading the codec pack, but if that doesn't work I'll try the Gom. I'll post again my results. |

| I bet Vista is taking issue with the fact that VLC will read DVDs without any regard to region. It could be that you are seeing one of many effects of the anti-piracy age of OS programming which is so closely woven into fabric of Vista. |
