When I got home from work today, my Filipina maid was still in my apt and I was not feeling up to any sexual exploitation, so I had to find somewhere to go. I decided to try out the Country Club just up the road from my place.
Drove about 5 minutes to the top of the mountain and discovered paradise. (Well, if St. Peter wears silly golfing togs...)
I made my order and sat back. Imagine my joy when the lady bartender brought over a basket of corn chips with salsa...FREE.
A big thick bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms on a sesame seed bun with french fries and two 300 cc's of OB draft: W9,000. And a very nice view out over the city, even with today's icky weather. (It will be even better in a month or so when we can sit out on the deck.)
They also have Philly steak sandwiches for about W5,500. A salad bar for W6,000 (didn't see it tonight though).
I think I know where I'm spending my Friday evenings from now on. |

When you are coming down that big street past Lotte World and Garak Market, turn left at the red SK gas station. When you see guys with guns, turn left and go to the end of the road. It's not far. The restaurant is on the second floor.
Or, conversely, I can give you a ride in my car if I ever get it cleaned out. |
