Anyone know where I can buy a rice cooker and an electric kettle in Busan?
I live right by the Hadan stop, Line 1.
Searching for "rice cooker" or "electric kettle" with "pusan" or "busan" only turned up people selling used stuff, all several months ago.
Thanks

Ahem....I think what they are trying to say is that you should have no problem finding those things. Find an E-Mart or a Lotte Mart or any store that looks like a wal-mart back home (they're everywhere) and they should have everything you are looking for. You may have to go to the basement level depending on the store.
Give it a month, you'll see why they thought it was a funny question. |

Uh, possibly. But I think you could probably pick one up dumpster diving on moving day in one of the big apartment complexes! |

Thanks for the info.
Forgive the short fuse. It just seems that with all the posts I've made over time, half of them have received responses from complete assholes. It's completely unnecessary.
I walked around the neighborhood yesterday and saw nothing that looked like a place to buy housewares. So I came here to ask.

Try posting your question on pusanweb.com forums. I live in Busan but at the other side of the city, so I can't help you. Someone on pusanweb will know where your closest mart is. |

If you have the cash go to the Lotte Department Store in Somyeon. Depending on your shift I'd recommend getting there in the morning when it's quiet.

Just curious, but what did your director or co-workers say when you asked them this question? |

I don't have a job yet.
But I did find an electric kettle.
