|
|
I'm returning to Korea after a year away. In my last stint, I couldn't find a decent pillow in any store in my local area (including Carreffour), so I'm considering bringing at least one over with me. Obviously, pillows are not the most space-efficient items so I'd much rather buy one when I get back to Seoul. Are good pillows available anywhere these days??? |

If you've got one you really love, consider a vacuum pack. It should save on space, and you can use it on your clothes too. |

Dongdaemun sells lots of pillows. There is one big building full of bedding. Not sure how to tell you to get to it, though.
The one I bought was overstuffed, and gives me a neckache. |

Yeah, Dongdaemun. Or the ritzy, snobby, m'lady's boudoir boutiques of Gagnam. Or online. Or sleep with one of those hard, bean-bag-type Korean bricks. Good for health you know? |

There are some places that sell Simmons mattresses. I'm sure they would also have duck down pillows. We found a couple around Ahyeon Station (Line 2).
Good luck! |

I found a few German mattresses that sure were comfy... and cheaper than the overpriced US imports. Same single-wrapped coil style, too. |

you could buy a down pillow for 100 bucks at home pluse... i got a cork-filled one for 20... they're not the best, but better than some flat foam piece of crap or oversized neck breaker, imo |
