I'm going to test this tonight, by trying to open his car door. If it works, I'm going to show him.

Five times, my new TV has turned off for some unknown reason. The last two times it happened, I heard a car door shut, and someone drive away immediately after.

I'd much rather he have his remote adjusted than me bother with it.

Keep us informed. You think you can open his car with your remote?

It's only a theory, but I can't see why not!

I think maybe his car remote is more powerful than my TV remote. If I get close enough, and that is indeed what is going on, then it technically should work.

What would really be a laugh is if the volume button auto-starts his car, or something!
