I don't know what theatre's at Bucheon station, but maybe there's something here that'll help you. In my two years here, I haven't been able to find any one single site that lists everything, in English or Korean. I've had to rely on a variety of sites (and my phoentic Korean-reading abilities) to get the information I want. Here's my list:
www.cine21.com
Release Dates: Select the second option (영화) in the drop-down menu at the top, and type the movie's name in English (be careful of spelling). That'll give you it's release date, if it has one.
Upcoming Movies: click 영화 in the pink bar at the top, then click 개봉예겅영화 at the left.
Current Releases: click 영화 in the pink bar at the top, then click 현재상영영화 at the left.
For specific showtimes, I check the individual chains' sites:
CGV (everywhere): www.cgv.co.kr
An excessively-Flash-based site, and it doesn't seem to work very well in Firefox, but for IE it's fine. You really do need to know how to read the Korean for this one, though.
MEGABOX (COEX, Sinchon): http://www.megabox.co.kr/tickets/timetable.aspx
You'll need to sound out the Korean, but on this page you can select which theatre you want in the first drop-down menu, and the date in the second.
CINUS (here and there): http://cinus.co.kr/
Another Flash-based, IE-only website. Click 'theaters' at the top, then the region your theatre's in, then the specific theatre you're looking for. Click the little green clock pic next to the green Korean writing to get the showtimes. You need to sound out the movie titles here, too.
http://times.hankooki.com/culture/movie.htm
The Korea Times movies page has very limited lists of things that are playing and where. Basically useless, especially if you can navigate these other sites.
I'm sure there are others that I just don't know about, and I'd be glad to hear about them if anyone can list a few more... |
