Making your own beer in korea...possible?

So, after a recent trip to portland, during which a friends roommate had a cask opening party, I am convinced that making my own beer is the way to go!

Is it possible in Korea? Have any of you ever done it?

Of course it's possible, but it will be more expensive than doing it in your own country. Unfortunately, due to the generally low quality and variety of beers here, for many of us it's a necessity. Have a look at the thread below for more information (searching for "homebrew" is another option):

Thanks so much for that link man! Yes, I don't care how expensive it is; you wanna know what I just did? I brought back 5 bottles of Rogue Hazlenut Ale from Oregon, wrapped in towels like little baby birds. That's how important good beer is to me.

Yeah, I wanted to bring a few beer kits over from England with me but they were too heavy for my suitcase and because of the strict rules regarding hand luggage these days - over-strict in my opinion - I couldn't bring any. As far as I know, until something better comes along, your best bet is Coopers.
