Hey all,

I know there are ex-pat leagues, etc but they don't start up again until March. I'm really looking to get a bit of a weekly game set up - maybe five-a-side or something? You can't beat a bit of footie and it's great for meeting ppl, etc.

Post here if you're interested or if you know of a weekly kick about I could join in on.

Cheers,

Brian

I'd consider showing up. A good place for a game might be Yeouido.

I'd be up for a game too, needing the exercise and not in the right shape to try the expat leagues at the moment.

I'd certainly be up for a bit of footy when I get to Korea (end of January). Where were you thinking of playing? Because I'll be living on Geoje Island, so my options are a bit more limited if the venue is in Seoul.

On a similar note, does anyone know of a soccer league/weekly kick around near Geoje?

I suggested Yeouido where there are lots of large fields with open space. There are no goalposts though.

Coats and bags as goalposts always make for entertaining games. Cries of "It was over", followed by "no way - it would have smashed the back of the net!".

Count me in if at the weekend.

Haha - that's definitely old school right there. All we need is one round ball, four jumpers and ten bodies. Let's get it on!

Right tomorrow at 'work' I'll pull together names of everyone who has expressed an interest either here or with pm and i'll send time, location, etc. few ppl near me up for it too. coats and bags for goalposts optional - i'm too rubbish to be too badly bothered anyhow.

i'm thinking sunday jj - u shud come up for another piss-up too by the way. by the way i'm well up for that trip you mentioned just been lazy about replying so far this week!?

Ok how bout we say Yeouido at about two on Sunday? PM if you're coming (so we carrange particulars). I'll get a ball from somewhere so all we need is extra bags for goalposts! 100% informal and uncompetitive by the way.

All welcome needless to say.
