Aren't Korean schools ever ridiculous places? This year I offered to be put on the Saturday schedule teaching a CA drama class. So I come in, sit at my desk, make some hand-outs for next week, and fart around on Dave's. I go to my class to find out that CA classes have been scuttled to plan for our school festival next week. So now it seems I've volunteered to come in on Saturday and do nothing. Oh well, if it's any consolation the newbie English teacher at my school was just as much out of the loop.
Thankfully the school events at which I'd like my drama class to present something are a long, long time away. |

Why would you volunteer to work on a Saturday though? To try and get some extra vacation during summer and winter break? |

Yeah, why would you volunteer to work on Saturday? They don't pay you enough. I know. |

It's only every second Saturday, I live on campus and am typically doing nothing on Saturday morning anyways, and the class is a lot of fun to teach. |
