Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to have apply for an F4 visa when you already have an E2 visa?
Do they allow it?
thank you |

| I don't see why not. People go from E-2 to F-2 so going to F-4 shouldn't be any problem. Contact the immi and ask them. |

Yes, you can switch.
No you cannot have both at the same time.
When you get your F4 it will cancel the need for your E2 and thus cancel your E2. |

do you think that would cause a problem with the school that sponsored the E2 visa?
do I have to ask permission from the school?
thank you |

The only problem it would cause is you can quit or change without any problem so you are no longer under their thumb.
If you don't tell them they wouldn't even know.
F4 frees you from the restrictions of the E2. You can work anywhere, do anything, change jobs, work multiple locations, etc. |
