Hi,
I have an important sound recoding that was done in k3g. It's 16 mb's.
I've tried to convert it to avi.
I used Anycall Samsung's Media Studio. That captures and creates avi for my cellphone vids. Well, every other file but this one. Is it the size I wonder? I let it sit for 15 minutes while the Studio tried to capture the video. No, so, can't use that conventional ware even for its own file type.
So, started Fimm Video Converter. That made a 2 gig avi file but doesn't playback in any player - Gom, Windows Media etc. It changed the original file to an MP4 as appearance, but which is still coded as k3g file.
Tried various other converters such as Open Video Converter and MPEG4 Direct Maker. Tried running the files, avi and k3g through Cubase, because I only want the audio.
Tried Jet Audio. tried Windows Movie Maker, tried Camtasia Studio with Quicktime as a recommendation.
Tried to find a renaming tool to change k3g to 3gp.
Installed Divx and an AVI codecs pack.
*beep* me dead, I can't find a way. |

| I read all that info of the two sites above in my searches. They led to zilch in terms of converting any audio or video of k3g to avi or any other playable transferable file. However, that Audacity tip came through for me with flyin' colors. |
