Can anyone recommend a store/market where I can purchase Thai foods and sauces like fish sauce oyster sauce and get Thai spices (fresh or packaged). A store near my place would be preferable, of course. I live in Young-in near Seoul so going to Seoul is not a problem... Very Happy

Go up hooker hill in Itaewon. On the left side just after homo hill (gotta love those street names) there a store that sells a lot of Thai foodstuffs.
I'm pretty sure you'll get what you need there.

The foreign food market sells all that stuff.

Go to Burger king, and do not cross the street, Turn left, and go around the corner do not cross the street until you see the foreign food market on the left. Then cross the street. It is right next to "whatthebook"

You can get all sorts of great things there. I have gotten fresh string beans and real peas there.

Oyster sauce I have seen in so many stores.

You could also try Hannam Mart. http://www.hannammarket.co.kr/main.php?english=yes

They've got dried lemongrass and fresh herbs.
