Ok this is a very easy question....what exactly is the order of the words in the "Heads, Shoulder, Knees and Toes" song. I remember the words/order best in French. The textbook I have uses a format that I'm not used to or at least sounds funny to me. I want to teach them the order that makes sense to me but translating it from the French doesn't work for the beat of the music.

Any suggestions?

The French format (forgive the lack of diacritcs I'm tired and don't want to play with the character map and cut and paste. As well as any spelling errors, it's been a while since I studied French):

Tete, epaulles, jenue et pie, jenue et pie (Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes)
Tete, epaulles, jenue et pie, jenue et pie (Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes)
J'ai duex yeux, un naiz, une bouche, duex oreilles (I have two eyes, a nose, a mouth and two eyes)
Tete, epaulles, jenue et pie, jenue et pie (Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes)

The part that I am having problems remembering the standard or original English version for is the 3rd line. What exactly is the consenus of how the words should go?

Anyone else find that the textbooks don't quite follow the "traditional" wording for kiddie songs?
