OK, this is really ridiculous: either I am blind as a bat or the good people of Gwangju don't use the stuff (highly unlikely), but WHERE can I find some shaving cream??? Soap is OK, but I would rather use the foam...
It's not in the 7-11 or MiniStop near my school...it's not at Big Mart. It might be at Haitai Mart, but I haven't been there in awhile, and it doesn't seem to be in any of the cosmetic stores in downtown!! All these places sell razors, but nothing to use with the razors. Weird!
Can anyone give me the name of a store that sells shaving cream (of any kind) and its location so I can go hunt it down and stock up?
Thank you....

I am surprised that you have not been able to get your hands on any. I have lived here for a year and a half and have always used gillete sensitive shaving gel. I have always bought it at mini stop or e-mart. Try the e-mart near Seo Bang Si Jang, or shinsege department store next to the bus terminal.

Katy,
That is most perplexing. "7/11" or "LG 25" should all have the "Gillette Series gel" which is the best for your skin...works well even on sensitive baby posterior skin like mine...

I'm currently on vacation, so I could swing-by and give you some ("with soothing aloe")...

Just can't have enough aloe to smear...

Simple. Make a little trip up to Itaewon and buy a 6 month supply. Plenty of choices. For myself, I picked up 15 cans of shaving cream at the $1 store back home before I came to here because I knew how expensive the shaving cream was as well as the small quantities that they offer. The best advice is to go to one of these type of stores before you come to Korea and load up on razors, shaving cream, deodorant, shampoo, acne medication, toothpaste, etc. Certainly helps save money.
