I am after help finding out how to take my personal details off a website that recruiters use.

http://pbbs.naver.com/photo/list.php?id=kimi68_5&work=list&st=&sw=&cp=22

The above link holds mine and numerous other foreigners' CVs and photographs.

I was looking for a job and found one in November 06. My details have been on this sight since I found them in December 06. (Everyone surely googles their name from time to time?) I did not know they were on and did not authorise it.

I have e-mailed the recruiter I worked with and sent an e-mail to the contact that is at the bottom of the photograph - www.kimsesl.com

BUT....no success!

Any one any ideas? Thanks

Send a fictional email from the "police" in your home country requesting help capturing an evil genius/criminal mastermind/two-bit loser (or whatever your alter-ego would be).

Or you could hire some kid from school to hack into their server and crash the site.

Start a new website-- www.kims.esl.is.run.by.SATAN.com

Keep spamming them every day until they take it down.

Find a Korean lawyer or someone who wouldn't mind pretending to be one and send them some kind of notice that you will be pursuing legal action if they don't take it down.

Last but not least, you could ask them to update your photo--with this (thanks, CabbageTownRoyals):

If you click on the thumbnail pic to make the big version come up you can see a list of options in the top left hand corner...one of them is delete. Maybe that would work?

Jesus, I'm glad that hasn't happened to me yet...anyway...

Maybe we should start adding a disclaimer to all our emails stating that they agree to pay us 30,000,000 won if they ever put our information out there on the web like that! Is that a possibility? Fockers!

Make em pay!
