does the LOR have to come from the school or from the regional authority? our contracts are signed between us and the principals. shouldn't the principal also issue the Letter of Release?

edit:
update below! & title change a few times!

Yes, your coteacher should type it up, and your principal should stamp/sign it. Just had it done a week ago.

So you two are actually pulling the plug then?

If you have any doubts just get someone from your school to call immigration. That's what I had to do re: visas, renewals, stamps, and anything else they were 100% clueless about.

still unsure. we can't get a straight answer about what our schedule will be, so pulling the plug is tempting.

Hiya

I think it should come from your principal as the contract is between the school and yourself.

Also, don't let them draw it out too long until they give you a definite answer.

Good luck

If you do go, think about getting a job around here. At least then you'll get a proper vacation.

it looks like we will be staying here for another 5 months. our 'minder-fellow' from my bf's school contacted the head office and it seems that we will stay at our current schools (no elementary or middle schools) although we may have to go on some EPIK business trips. we will get final confirmation in march.

that 'final confirmation' thing leaves me a little uneasy, but i'm taking this as good news.

or am i being hopelessly naive?

And I've always loved your avatar. We have a pug and if i had that costume, I would make her wear it everyday for entertainment.

Personally, I would keep your eyes and ears open and have your back up plan in case come March, the "final confirmation" doesn't say what you hoped it would.

Don't worry about it. That's what the lunches are for!

I second catycat's sentiments... you weren't going on at the lunch (I think we were all too absorbed in the food!) I hope you get it all worked out soon.
