I wanted to know what theaters there are in the Seoul area and preferrably near a subway/metro. Also, what movies are there out there to see and let me know what comedy, drama, and action movies are showing. I know about the Rocky movie and some World War II movie about Iwo Jima. |

BTW- If you are going to watch Babel in a foreign country, please be aware that half of that movie is subtitled. I guess it was worth 7000 won to see Brad Pitt. I went not even knowing what the movie was about, and left the same way! |

Yeah Kill Bill 2 was no fun. A big patch of the movie was in Chinese with only Korean subtitles. Oi.
Check here for a list of theaters:

The ones at COEX can be nice, but they're usually way too crowded. The newish ones at Yongsan's I-Park are really nice - stadium seating - and it's usually not too difficult to get tickets. |

It seems there is no shortage of decent movie theaters these days, which was sadly not the case a few years ago when finding a nice place to watch a movie was really newsworthy.
In any case, I thought I'd mention that I really liked Daehan Cinema in Chungmuro. Very big, stadium-style seating, and, if anything, a bit *too* loud. I watched Spiderman 2 there and nearly vibrated out of my seat at times. |
