Just when you thought counterfeit kimchi from China was your only worry...
There's an interesting article on the front page of the Herald Tribune today about "Asia's counterfeit-drug epidemic". Apparently 53% of anti-malarials bought in SE Asia were fake, and they seem to be coming from China.

The article also mentioned antibiotics, AIDS drugs, blood pressure meds and meningitis vaccines as being among the bogus drugs found, with China as the cited source.
Just thought it was something to be aware of because anti-malarial medication is an issue which comes up from time to time in this forum. |
