Hi all,

My visa will expire in about a week and a half. I have found a new position, but it requires a E7 visa and the paperwork seems a little complex. They are drawing up the documents, but they wont be ready for at least another 2 weeks, maybe more.

So I am going to immigration tomorrow to ask for a one month visa extension or a one month tourist visa. I have checked immigrations website and it seems that all they require is a passport, ARC 30 thousand won and a credible reason.

My question is: have any of you been in a similar situation? What exactly did the immigration office need and did you encounter any problems?

Thank you

To reply to my own post: all you need is to show Immigration a departing plane ticket and they will give you a 30 day extension not really an extension, you cant work during the period.
