I think coming into Korea, you need to show an onward ticket. The best I think to find out is through your airline since you have no Visa.

I just flew from the US to Korea on a one way ticket. Just to be on the safe side I bought a refundable ticket to Guam from Seoul. I got to the airport in Los Angeles and did an automated check in, but then the computer said I needed to show proof of onward travel. I beckoned an agent and she checked me in without saying a word. I was hoping she was going to ask because I spent 500 bucks and printed the itinerary out! Same thing in Korea, not a mention of it. It took about 10 seconds to get through customs there. Come to think of it, I have never been asked for proof of onward travel in any country I have traveled to.

Murhpy's law in operation here. Had I not had what I needed, I am sure they would have asked! Just like before I turned 21 I got carded when buying booze, but the day I turned 21, no one said a word.

Actually, a roundtrip open ended ticket is sometimes not much more than a one way. I would be wary of the whole reimbursement thing though. You will probably be fine. Best of luck.

Where are you coming from?

If youa re flying from the UK with Korean Air they won't let you fly on a one way ticket unless you already have a visa in your passport.
