| I think coming into Korea, you need to show an onward ticket. The best I think to find out is through your airline since you have no Visa. |

I just flew from the US to Korea on a one way ticket. Just to be on the safe side I bought a refundable ticket to Guam from Seoul. I got to the airport in Los Angeles and did an automated check in, but then the computer said I needed to show proof of onward travel. I beckoned an agent and she checked me in without saying a word. I was hoping she was going to ask because I spent 500 bucks and printed the itinerary out! Same thing in Korea, not a mention of it. It took about 10 seconds to get through customs there. Come to think of it, I have never been asked for proof of onward travel in any country I have traveled to.
Murhpy's law in operation here. Had I not had what I needed, I am sure they would have asked! Just like before I turned 21 I got carded when buying booze, but the day I turned 21, no one said a word.
Actually, a roundtrip open ended ticket is sometimes not much more than a one way. I would be wary of the whole reimbursement thing though. You will probably be fine. Best of luck. |

Where are you coming from?
If youa re flying from the UK with Korean Air they won't let you fly on a one way ticket unless you already have a visa in your passport.
