Does anyone know where I can buy Korean-subtitled DVDs of Star Wars/Empire/Jedi? I've never seen them available for rent in any video shop I've been in, and I can't remember seeing them for sale anywhere either. I'm sure that Yongsan would be a good place to start, but I'm loathe to even come near that sprawling shantytown if I'm not positive I can get what I need and get out within ten minutes - that place makes me want a drink.
Thanks. |

| Well, la-di-da~ What's the problem? They don't serve you your bootleg DVDs on an ornate silver platter? |

I am so surprised no one mentioned YongSan electro-mart yet.
Every vendor had them there and sold the box set (all six episodes) for about 35,000 won. |

have you been to that "shantytown" lately? at yongsan station, there's a new complex, which is as sterile as korean department stores go.
but if you're still not convinced...
i passed by this sidewalk dvd stand outside gangbyeon station yesterday.(line 2) they had the largest selection of movies/tv shows i'd ever seen. i ordered 2 seasons of law & order that they don't even sell in stores. |
