|
|
Okay, the 50/50 coverage that most of us get from our schools covers diddly crap, and I don't want any traveler's insurance from Canada because with that stuff comes a whole lot of tax/residency headaches.
So does anyone know of any insurance arrangements in Korea that will insure my Canadian ass for whatever my school won't? I can look after my own health pretty well but once you step foot in a taxi in this country your life is no longer in your own hands. |

Thanks, but World Nomads requires that I keep my Canadian health coverage in order to get a policy with them. I want something that doesn't need to piggyback on my Canadian coverage. I'm cutting my ties to avoid income tax problems.
Any KOREAN institutions offer insurance to foreigners living in the ROK? |

On the same topic, albeit from a different angle.
I am no longer covered under my province's health care coverage. I am traveling to Canada shortly for a couple of months, I am in good health but if something unforeseen should happen I wouldn't want to get screwed by my province's health system. I will still be covered under the korean National health Plan while I am away.
Does anyone have any links, experience, or information about travel insurance for ex-pats living in Korea when they travel abroad?
Thanks in advance |
