This site has an "on-line exhibit" of American presidential election ads, going all the way back to 1952.

LBJ's 1964 "Daisy" is, of course, a classic.

And I especially liked Confessions Of A Republican, the last item listed under Johnson 64. The angst-ridden preppie is priceless.
