i noticed last months bill is unsually high considering I was on vacation for 3 weeks away from my apartment so I was wondering if someone could translate these Korean phrases for me.

I can't translate, but I can maybe give you a heads up.

I've heard (from this website) that in some buildngs, your utilitles aren't what you use, per se, but an average cost of what the cost per unit is (per apartment).

So, crappy as it is, you may be doing the communal payment thing.

I have no idea if this really happens.

Also, I've heard that prices go up alot during peak months. So, even if you don't use that much heating oil, or whatever, what you do use will be more expensive. Again, this is all second or third hand info from this site.

If bossman is pushing what you thin are high bills onto you, ask for the papers from the companies.

Yeah, has anyone actually seen a security guard who wasn�t asleep by 3am?

공동 means it's a shared cost. 세대 is the one for just your apartment.

i live in an officetel by myself
