Alright everyone ... I've been here for about three days now and am sorely missing CAFFEINE. I guess I've been spoiled by the rash of energy drinks (i.e. Red Bull, Rock Star, etc) ...
What're some good caffeinated drinks in Korea? - besides coffee & tea that is.... |

Bacchus only has about 50mg of caffiene IIRC.
Not much in the way of energy drinks that compare to anything in the west. |

Caffeine pills anyone? Can I get them at a drug store?
I'm used to drinking a red bull, and several cups of coffee a day. These small portions of coffee, and coke are not working for me. |

I know but, as far as I know, energy drinks comparable to those we have in the West are not readily available here. |

That sounds like you're drinking a lot of caffeine. It might be a good idea to lower it as the more caffeine you drink then eventually the more you will need in order to maintain your alertness. If you reduce your intake - as you're pretty much being forced to do now - it will probably help you in the long run and result in the "small portions" of caffeine having a stronger effect.
That said, I'm not trying to preach - my vice is alcohol.  |

30 milligrams per 100 milliliter bottle (in addition to 2 grams of taurine). i know because i drink it a lot and i have a bunch right here in front of me! it's good though. down several of them and you'll be fine. they're especially good with soju or as korean jagerbombs |
