Looks like an easy teaching day.

That dude should look much happier than he does.

He's thinking, "Tic, toc, tic, toc, ..."

Playing with kids in the yard makes time go by sloooooooooooooooooooooow.

I'd rather be teaching where time just zings right by. Maybe play cards from time-to-time and give the winner money. Teach them the art of gambling.

Tic, toc. Blowing bubbles. Hope that's not part of his job. Play guay time.

Card games are great ways to teach kids. I was working my kids up on how to play poker until the school put a stop to that.

Monoploy's a great game to teach kids useful English. I would have anywhere from 10 to 20 sentences (depending on their level) in English written on the board and they had to play the whole game using English (No English, no game). It teaches them how to go shopping and ask questions while shopping.

I use to have one mother who complained sometimes when I would play monoploy, then one summer vacation she went over to New York with her son. She loved shopping but had almost no English and everywhere she went her son just took over the conversation and translated it all for her. She was amazed and came back into the hagwon and was over the moon about her son was using all this English while they were on vacation and thanked me for it. She couldn't stop raving about it to everyone.

She never complained about my games again Very Happy .

I taught a few how to play Big Old 2. It's China's national game. A different type of poker. You can't play with any more than 4 people though.
