If the Koreans come home it won't make a bit of difference with respect to the war because they are just chillin in Kurdistan.

Where does anyone get the idea an Iran invasion is coming anywhere soon?

If any miltiary action happens it wqill likely just be airstrikes on nuke plants a mil facilities, vis a vis "Desert Fox".

I dont get why people talk as if theres an invasion imminent. We don't have hundreds of thousands of troops lined up at the Iran iraq border.

If you read the article, then you'll see that senior officials in the British government are the ones who are thinking that there's a possibility of imminent attack.

That's where the idea is coming from, and that's kind of the point.

Also, while there may not be troops there are a few aircraft carriers in place for the airstrikes you mention. Attack doesn't mean invasion, but either of these are cause for concern, surely.

Preparations for an attack:

1. Israel has been training for the long flight missions by flying to Gibraltor and back.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/article1290315.ece

2. Isarel has asked the US for permission to fly through Iraqi airspace.

3. Cheney has said "all options are on the table"

4. US Special Forces have been covertly entering Iran for months to set targets.

5. The Iranians are burying and fortifying their bunkers and moving many of their leaders out of Tehran.

6. The US sent a second carrier task force to the Gulf in the last 90 days.

I believe that Cheney and the rest of the wing-nuts are waiting for an incident they can lie into a "Tonkin" incident and then attack Iran.
