Can I take my cat on an express bus? I don't think she'd like it in the luggage space underneath, so I mean in the actual bus bit. I plan on drugging her first so she doesn't complain too much. (I mean, going to the vet and getting cat sleeping pills =) )

The bus would be better than the train because it's about an hour quicker. But if she had to go in the hold I think she'd be a very unhappy cat.

She'd be in a cat/small dog carrier thing.

I've seen dogs and cats in carriers on buses multiple times. I don't know if there are any official rules against it, but it definitely happens!

I actually had a good experience taking both my cats on the train once. It was only half an hour, but they were comfortable in their bag on the floor with me, and everyone was very curious. And they hated the taxi. I think the bus might be bad because there are some hard bumps.

Yeah, when we still had our dog, we used to take it on the bus with us when we went to Seoul... fun, fun...

Hmm.. taking the train will mean a longer taxi ride and about an hour extra on the journey. Choices choices..

If you are going to drug her first, I'd take the bus because it's quicker and you will be on and off the bus quick enough that she won't (or he?) notice.

I have seen them in cardboard boxes.....
As long as it is smallish, drugged up and in a box you should be fine
