Gonna put my truck at my folks for a year or so. I'm just looking for those good ideas that I might look over. Any tips?

So, would any of you cover your vehicle if you were storing it out of doors? One of the links provided said that the covers are only for indoor storage...

Unless it's a classic, it's almost always cheaper to sell a vehicle and buy another on return.

I hear ya. But, in this case I've got a 99 Ranger that only cost me $3,000. It runs very well and has many years left. I bought it well under bluebook. Otherwise, I would. I couldn't get off so cheaply this time.
