This is apparently the korean word for a boarding house. Does anybody know of. any in seoul? In japan they were called gaijin houses

There're plenty of hasuks in my area (near Yonsei Univ.), and I'd guess you'd be able to find them around most universities.

Sinchon is over-run with them... they usually have different prices based on your nationality (because they think some nationalities can afford to pay more than others)...

Japanese students usually pay about 400,000/month... Chinese 300-350,000.. I briefly looked into it and was told it would be 470,000/month..

I'm sure you could get the 400,000/month price easily though.. btw, the ones I looked through were nothing special...
