can anyone offer me some ideas for Demo lessons? Usually which ideas are the best to go with and wins over the supervisor and makes the principal and vice principal look good?

Look in your textbook.

The last demo lesson I did had to be based around a unit in the textbook. We did something about movies.

I hope your co-teacher is thinking of some ideas too.

We did the present perfect. a little grammar intro, a short 'golden bell' style review, then an activity where everyone wrote an interesting experience on two pieces of paper (same experience, two times). After that we collected one one from each student and put them in a hat and redistributed, then had a 'mingle and match' where they had to use "have you ever..." to find the owner of the experience they picked out of a hat. All of our instructions were done in powerpoint, and my coteacher was the mastermind.

The key is to mix it up and run it through a few times before hand, including a couple of runs with the actual demo class. You can pack way more in when they know exactly what's coming. We spent about two weeks and countless revisions before it was finally perfect.

Hope that helps, really the first part of this post is me spouting off, the second part is the critical part.

i wished i had more time thats what it is.
i just learned about it today
everything has to be done and handed in by march 2.
i am off for the rest of the week until friday (march 2).
the co-teacher isnt interested in meeting up with me during the free days.
nice huh?

i like your suggestion however my brief communication with the coteacher she wants to add all these fancy elements into the demo lesson plan. i like things when they are more simple but she doesnt seem to like it.

Well, if she wants all that in the presentation then she is going to have to do some work. You can't be expected to do all the work.
The best thing you can do is choose a topic and think of an intro exercise, developement and consolidation exercise.

For example "Shopping":

On the PPT

Intro: 5 shops and 5 items.
Ss identify the shops and then say in which shop they would buy each item.
Q's Which store is this? It's the_____________
What can you buy here? YOu can buy ___________

Development: Shopping role play
Ss complete and practise a shopping role play.

Consolidation: Students ask eachother about the last thing they bought and where.

Who is watching this demo lesson? Your co-teacher doesn't sound too concerned about it so it can't be that important. Just do what you normally do and print off a copy of your lesson for her.

she kind of shoved to me other demo lessons other school has done, but i don't really understand why they are written in Korean. Usually there is an English version of the demo lesson isn't there?
there was one a school did and the game was called 'scaffolding' and I have no clue what that is and all the instructions are written in Korean! Does anyone have any idea what that would be? just curious what it is that's all.
