I am interested in your bike. What kind of license is required to drive it?

No need for a license or a plate or insurance or even a helmet for that matter.

Forealdo. I've been driving here for a long time and there is a method to the madness. For smaller engine displacement bikes 125cc or under all you need is any home country car divers license. I've only been asked once. However it is easy to get a korean license should you want one.
You don't want plates because they make it easier for the popo to give you a ticket. However should you want, you can get those no problem as well.
Insurance I know nothing about. But I know wayguks who have had accidents and the biker is always in the right.
Helmet, tis dum not to wear it. Put one on yoself and your yoja.

Basically you can buy my bike and ride away not strings attached. Korea has it second world lag has its pros and cons, it is not a first world country. And with the mild anarchy that comes with underdeveloped nations also comes a freedom to do what you want even if that means killin' yourself. See helmetless, smokin' one hand drivin, weevin' wobblelin' jajamyun delivery drivers. It also means you can buy a bike and start riding it hassle free then and there everywhere

Hi,

I am looking for a city bike. Your's might fit the ticket. I paid 650,000 Won for a Magma 3 years ago.

If you are interested in making a deal, I will buy it in a second if the price is reasonable. When is the latest I can call and where abouts are you?

What the OP listed are his/hers version of the motorcycle rules.

This is how it works:

1) You will need to change ownership of the bike
2) You need to buy insurance
3) You need at least a korean drivers permit
4) You need a helmet - not because of your own driving but for those crazy ajummas zooming around on scooters...trust me ...I had one smack into me one day...and she must have been airborne for a good 7 or 8 meters.

5) And this bike is way over priced.

OP - there "are" strings attached to buying and bike in korea

Your "you will need" list is full of shit

I've been riding here almost 5 years without any of that stuff, a few of my buds longer than that and plenty more people I know less than that and no problem with anyone for the stuff you mentioned.

I've been pulled over 4 or 5 times. Never was anything on Your bullshit "you will need" list an issue with the popo. In fact not having a license saved me from tickets a few times.

the price on the bike is way better than anything you'll find in Toegeroe. Though I will admit that they over charge. My price is not cheap nor pricey and is quite reasonable especially after you deal with me. Something I indicated I would do with the obo next to the price tag.

Call anytime and I live in Yongsan. Come on over and test drive it, you like is good yes.
