www.efl-law.com

Go to the forums and ask about it.

Try the labor board at 1350 on your phone as well.

Please share you story here once things get settled out. It's stories like this that can hopefully help others out later...and they're usually a good read.

I hope you get everything owed to you.

Problemo Solvedo!

Got into contact with the national pension, a agent realtor and a lawyer! The issue was that my Boss was being shifty about my last pay check. He wanted to deduct retarded amounts from me for apartment repairs that were left from previous tenants etc...When I brought it to his attention that its up to the condo and the new tenants to replace certain items especially if its from normal wear and tear. Thats what the realtor told me. Then when I told him if he deducts even 10 000 won too much I'm calling the pension office, since he never took nor paid into the pension. I think I'm still gonna call them. As for the lawyer, I got a letter from a notairy in Itaewon saying a lot of BS and he bought it. He was mad but the old bastard paid up!

The school was really great until the last two months. The owner became increasingly worried about students or lack thereof. Then he decide to take away the job offers he had given me and my wife. He also got all the parents to pay for February and then when all the payments, checks and credit cards passed he announced the school was closing at the end of March. He informed the parents on the 10th of February leaving many kindy parents pissed and without a hogwan since there are waiting list in the Mokdong area for kindy. He then hid for two weeks. While parents bombarded us but mostly the Korean teacher with complaints. So much so that he said he wasn't closing the school but selling it to someone else. That appeased the parents but two days later he told the Korean teachers to call the parents and tell them the deal fell through. Well, the Shit hit the fan! Can I get a Amen...I mean a refund and most parents did to the point where for the last 2 weeks I taught skeleton classes or just waited for students to possibly come in. Other foreigner teachers that were recently hired of course got shafted...on..and on...

I feel a little bad for the guy he is an old fart and didn't really know what was going on until it was too late. Then he became a cheap miser and well now I think me and my wife are gonna go after him for our 4.5% pension....thats 2.8million between the two of us. Maybe I'm being a *beep* hitting a guy when he's down but I earned that money and its the law! He owns the building so I'm not too worried about his finances. Plus he is old and doesn't need the cash.

Who cares about anyone else. You got your cash, right? You don't even have to go after him for the pension. Just go to the pension office. They'll ask for your share, you'll then get it after a bit, and then they'll go after him for his share. Or wahtever.

Glad you got your money. That's the way you do it. Use what weapons you have.
