After a 3 week vacation in thailand, i get back to school to find my classroom trashed and a big FVCK YOU TEACHER scrawled on my desk in black marker. I'm about done with these god damn peasants, never work in a rural area people, and never ever work in a rural area for a public school, the people are not only weird, kooky, racist retards, they also can't speak english to save themselves, and i'm talking about my co teachers!

You should actually takes pictures of the condition of the room, take pictures of the scrawled comments, and anything you can take pictures of to show the total disregard for you and your position, and then make copies to take directly to the principal...Tell them that if they refuse to do anything about the situation, you will take it to the supervisors in the county education office...There is no reason for this type of thing to happen. Sure, they don't know who did it, but in this case a bit of strong arming from the principal and other officials will get the point across that you should be given more respect whether they like it or not...

They need to understand you were asked to come to their school and not vice versa...The anti foreigner sentiment going on in this country is ridiculous and needs to be brought to the attention of the public media...There is no reason for such childish stupidity... That's my opinion...

I understand how you feel, but it is the principle that will strike home with the Korean Admins more than anything...Most Koreans simply turn a deaf ear to things when they are attacked, but you should stand up for yourself...It is more about you doing the right thing than it is about the dimwits who caused the trouble in the first place...I hope you will reconsider my suggestions...

Damn man, sorry to hear about your situation Sad Since you have already worked there for a while, perhaps you can leave peacefully and get your airfare and severance as well? I hope you get your pay, otherwise make sure you take this up with the labor board.
