Help!

I just moved. I took my trusty PC out of its box, connected everything and started it up. There was a brief, nasty noise as it booted, then the noise stopped. Everything seemed fine, but then after about 20 minutes of use, the computer dramatically turned off. There was no shut down sequence, just suddenly it was off as if I unplugged it from the wall. It rebooted fine, and works fine for 20 minutes or so, then it will again turn itself off suddenly.

Anyone know what's going on?

Possibly overheating? Open the side of the case and make sure the heat sink is securely attached to the cpu. It's possible that one side or other may have come loose when you moved it so it is making poor contact and the processor is getting warm. Just throwing that one out there.

Yes, sounds like a powersupply problem, or a fan has stopped working so your mainboard overheating auto-protect system kicked in.

Yep, just some wires blocking the fan on the heatsink. Thanks all.
