I have been setting up my Moodles site and am quite impressed-it has tons of potential. I am not sure how my students will like it. Honestly, I am tired of needing to give everything to my students in candy coating. I teach in a university and after awhile it is easy to start being overly concerned about your evaluation and comments like "Writing class is boring". Geez, in University I never expected my professors to entertain me! I will use this Moodle program and if they are reluctant to participate then there goes their grade. When I leave the University, I will leave knowing that my only sin was teaching with integrity. I am not Brad Pitt or a cartoon character. I do know that if my best professors in graduate school were to teach some of these classes that the students would roast them on the evaluations. I am not saying that I get bad evals, but I will admit that some of the comments rather than the numbers, have disturbed me.[/u]

You seem to have taken it very personally. I would only be bothered if the comments are coming very frequently. Students are supposed to be irreverant, that's what they are for.
